Yahoo revealed that more then 1 Billion of his user data account have been hacked.
As per the company statement, the hackers may have stolen names, email addresses, telephone numbers, hashed passwords (using the weak, easy-to-crack MD5 algorithm), dates of birth, and in some cases, encrypted or unencrypted security questions and answers.
As per the company statement, the hacker was able to crack there secret source code which allowed them to easily steal one billion account.
Yahoo said that it has invalidated all the unencrypted security question & answer as well as the cookies so that hacker can not able to access affected account.
The company said all the info related to account payment, Card data have not been hacked as this are stored on another place.
